Artist: Aaron Hamilton A native of the island of Dominica, Aaron admits that his life, so far, has been seasoned by an unending passion for creating works of art. Among his earliest memories was about being frequently called upon by his pre-school teacher to draw on the chalkboard. He uses a wide variety of media, including pastel, acrylic and watercolor, to illustrate the natural and material aspects of the landscape and culture of Dominica. He has curated over 50 exhibitions and his work is frequently shown at exhibitions with other artists. He has won first prize at several national art competitions. Aaron has no formal art training; his art comes naturally to him. Examples of his work are included among the selection of the ongoing national art exhibit at the Old Mill Cultural Center.
