I'm a 27 year old male who has had trouble finding a good body wash my whole life. Every body wash I picked up at the store would smell good but leave my skin irritated, dry, burning, and flaky, probably from all the harsh chemicals that are in most products these days. This Nature's Gate body wash not only didn't irritate my skin, it left my skin feeling healthy and...soft. I never really knew what I was missing before, but I have no shame admitting that having healthy & soft skin is awesome! The scent itself isn't something I would call "manly," but I wouldn't call it "feminine" either. Just natural. Personally I like this, as I generally wear cologne anyway when I want to smell a certain way.Overall I highly recommend this. It's weird to say this but this body wash showed me what it's like to have healthy skin, and I am grateful for that. I will no doubt be purchasing another bottle next time I need more body wash.I love Hemp products and Nature's Gate products so it's no surprise that I like this. I'm a big fan of Nature's Gate because their products are always free of sulfates, parabens, phthlates, and all the stuff I don't want in my body care products. They also have good formulas for their products, I use a couple of their shampoos also. This body wash is great, has a good herbal-like smell to it, and works really well. It honestly makes my skin a little softer than anything I've ever used before. The Hemp probably helps a lot as Hemp is great for the skin. It doesn't only contain Hemp of course, it also has shea butter, apricot oil, dandelion extract, Vitamin E, among several other ingredients. I'll definitely be ordering another bottle one day.This item arrived to me leaking and almost empty, so I was unable to use. However, I was able to smell it and can review it based solely on the scent. I have used the Nature's Gate Aloe Vera body wash and it had a very sweet, Smarties candy scent. I wanted to try something a little less sweet and this one seemed to have good reviews. I will agree with other reviewers - it is an almost grassy scent. What I didn't like was that it almost smelled herbal as well. I didn't like this scent. It was more masculine. Not something I would want to smell all day if it lingers. I would rate the scent as 1 star, but given that it is a Nature's Gate body wash, I rate it higher.3 starts are only for the seller, because the shipping was super fast and the packaging was good. The product itself I literally stop using after 5 washes. It drys my skin like a cheap soap, and it smells super artificial like a cheap $2 soap. I've been using many natural shower gels before this one (different brands) and they never smell like a bubble gum or dry out my skin. Will not buy again.Before using this Nature's Gate Velvet Moisture Hemp Seed Oil body wash my skin was super dry and every body wash I have tried never helped my skin. I love this product because it foams up nicely and smells great! Not only that but it has made my skin super soft and has greatly improved my dry skin. Plus, it's free of harmful chemicals and isn't tested on animals. 5 out of 5 for this wonderful body wash! I recommend this if you have super dry sensitive skin and are looking for something natural and free of harmful chemicals.One of the best more natural body washes I’ve tried. Doesn’t dry out skin. I use their shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and deodorant. I love how the aloe vera has just barely any scent, while still giving me lather and clean skin. It's really wonderful!This was bought for my mum, it really works and I've ordered her two more, I only went googling for this when the Body Shop stopped doing their hemp hand wash but this is so much cheaper.Love this product, hoes not dry out your skin
